The CEO of IOHK, Charles Hoskinson, announced a partnership with the shoe manufacturer New Balance, this news was given at the Cardano Summit in Bulgaria on Saturday. The objective? Use the IHOK Cardano block chain to ensure that New Balance shoes are authentic.
In a video , Hoskinson offers information about the planned partnership.

New Balance will announce more news on October 14, Hoskinson said. He pointed out the New Balance association as an interesting example of possible mass adoption. He also hopes to see more additions to the platform during the next year.
“IN TERMS OF NEW FEATURES AND FUNCTIONALITIES, I THINK THERE ARE TWO THAT WE REALLY MUST MAKE SURE TO INCLUDE IN THE CARDANO 2020 ROADMAP,” HE SAID.
Hoskinson also noted that Cardano could soon have interoperability with Ethereum .
“IOHK IS COLLABORATING WITH NEW BALANCE IN A PILOT AUTHENTICATION PROJECT. THIS IS A VERIFICATION SOLUTION AT THE CONSUMER LEVEL THAT WILL ALLOW BUYERS TO CONFIRM THE AUTHENTICITY OF THE FOOTWEAR IN THE DISTRIBUTED LEDGER ”,
